FL50 – Ultrasonic Point Level Sensor
Durable plastic liquid level sensor for level sensing in a wide variety of applications and markets.
Product Description
This plastic ultrasonic point level sensor is made of durable nylon or polypropylene for unmatched chemical resistance. As a result, the FL50 level sensor can be used across a wide range of industrial applications, including hydraulic fluids, oils, and slurries. Ultrasonic liquid level sensors work by emitting high-frequency sound waves and detecting changes in the waves as they bounce back to the sensor. This technology makes this ultrasonic sensor capable of both point level and continuous sensing applications. The FL50 features a relay output with 1 A max switching current, 5-15 max voltage, temperature maximum of 70°C, and a max pressure of 150 PSIG.
Ultrasonic level sensors are the most reliable option available to measure things like bulk solids or highly viscous liquids. If your application requires remote monitoring this would likely be the best option for your needs because it can continually monitor the presence or absence of media in the environment.
